If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and have tried to live under my own rule. I turn from my sin and from every dark power that opposes you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me, deliver me, and bring me under God's reign. Be my Lord and my Savior. Amen.

Come Under Your Rule

Lord, revive your Church by your Spirit. Where we have settled for power without holiness, shake us awake. Where we have tolerated what is dark, drive it out. Let our lives show that your reign is breaking in, and make us a people who carry your victory with humility and courage, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church by Your Spirit

Father, by your Spirit, push back what is evil and oppressive in my life. Break the hold of fear, temptation, and darkness, and free me from every place where I have resisted your rule. Let your kingdom be seen in my choices and my peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Freedom Where Evil Has Grown

God, thank you that your Spirit is stronger than evil and that your reign is not far away. Thank you for every sign of freedom, mercy, and new life, and help me recognize your work with gratitude and joy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Breaking In

Name one area where you want God's rule to be more fully welcomed. Ask the Spirit to reveal what resists him there, then ask for courage to surrender that place and take one obedient step.

Pray Over the Place That Needs His Rule

Pray for: a person who feels trapped by fear, habit, or oppression; clear help from God's Spirit; believers to bring compassionate support; and a visible sign that God's reign is at work.

Pray for Someone Who Feels Bound
