If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that my inner life has not been good. What has come out of me has often been harmful, and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Make me new from the inside out and put what is good within me. Amen.

Make My Heart New

Lord, awaken your Church from the inside out. Where we have settled for outward appearance while our hearts have grown poor, fill us with truth, holiness, mercy, and love. Let what comes from us reflect a good inner source, so the world can see your life in your people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your People From Within

Father, search my inner life and show me what is corrupt, harmful, or false. I turn from pride, bitterness, secret sin, and empty religion. Replace what is evil within me with what is good, and let my words and actions change too, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Cleanse What Is Inside Me

Bring these to God: gratitude that he can renew your inner life, thanks for the good he has already begun, and a fresh desire for your words and actions to grow from that renewed place.

Growing a Good Inner Source

Pray by naming one area of your inner life — your thoughts, motives, habits, or speech — and ask God to renew that place first. Then ask him for one small step that will help good come out of you today.

Pray for the Inner Source

Pray for someone whose words or actions seem to show hurt or corruption inside, asking God to heal what is within them and bring forth what is good. Pray also for patience and wisdom in how you respond.
