45. Formal Translation Then it departs and brings along seven other spirits even more wicked than itself; after they enter, they reside there, and that man’s last state becomes worse than his first. In the same way, this wicked generation will face the same outcome. |
45. Dynamic Translation Then it goes and brings along seven other depraved spirits; once they come in, they settle in that person. The outcome is far more ruinous than at the start. That is how this corrupt generation will fare. |
