Speak harshly so others take it seriously

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I need your mercy. I have sinned, and I have trusted my own goodness instead of your grace. I turn from my sin and from harsh judgment toward others. I believe you died for me and rose again. Forgive me, make me new, and be my Lord. Teach me to love mercy and walk with you. Amen.

Receive the Mercy of Christ

Lord, revive your Church with the mercy you desire. Free us from empty religion, proud judgment, and hearts that protect appearances more than people. Make us humble, truthful, and tender toward the innocent and the wounded, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church with Mercy

Father, I confess that I have often cared more about appearing right than showing mercy. I have judged too fast and treated people as if they were guilty before I understood them. Forgive me, turn me back to your compassion, and teach me to walk humbly, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Quick Judgment

Pray by naming the person or situation that is hard to judge rightly. Ask God to show you what you do not yet understand, to slow your words, and to lead you toward mercy before you speak.

Slow Me Down Before I Speak

Pray for people who have been misread, condemned unfairly, or hurt by harsh religious certainty. Ask God to defend them, heal them, and bring truth and peace where they have been wounded.

For Those Wrongly Judged

Give thanks that God values mercy over empty performance. Thank him for every time his compassion has corrected you, protected others from your haste, and shown you a better way to treat people.

Thank God for Mercy
