Bring it to Jesus first, then follow his lead

Keep handling it alone until you have no other choice

Ask others for help but leave prayer out of it

Wait passively and hope the need disappears

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you with my sin and my need. I admit that I have tried to carry my life on my own, and I have fallen short. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I bring myself to you now. Receive me, forgive me, and lead me from this day forward. Amen.

Come to Jesus

Lord, revive your Church so we stop keeping our burdens to ourselves and learn to bring everything to you. Make us quick to come to you in prayer, humble enough to admit need, and faithful to carry your compassion to others. Draw your people into your presence again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Come First

Father, I bring my lack, my questions, and my unfinished needs to you. Provide what is needed and show me the next step, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring My Needs to You

Pray by naming one need you have been holding back, then say plainly, Lord Jesus, I bring this to you. Ask him to show you what to do next and to give you peace while you wait.

Pray the Need Honestly

Bring to God these thanks: that Jesus welcomes what we place in his hands; that he is not distant from our needs; that we do not have to solve everything alone.

Thanks for His Welcoming Presence

Pray for someone you know who is carrying a burden in silence. Ask God to help them bring that need to Jesus, to find courage to ask for prayer, and to receive timely help.

For the Burdened to Come to Him
