Bow with reverence and say plainly who he is

Keep him at a respectful distance and stay noncommittal

Praise him privately but avoid clear words about him

Wait for one more sign before giving him honor

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived without honoring you as Lord. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe you are the Son of God, and I confess you as my Lord. Come into my life, forgive me, and lead me from this day on. Amen.

Receive the Son of God

Lord, awaken your Church to bow before Jesus with fresh awe. Where we have become casual, humble us; where we have become silent, teach us to confess plainly that Jesus is the Son of God; where we have drifted, draw us back to worship. Let our lives show your worth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Worship Again

Father, thank you for revealing the true identity of Jesus. Thank you that he is worthy of worship, not just attention. Give me a grateful heart that answers your revelation with reverence and trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Showing Us Who Jesus Is

Praise Jesus as the Son of God. Worship him for his authority, his nearness, and the honor due to him from everyone who sees him clearly.

Jesus Is Worthy

When you pray, name one place where your view of Jesus has grown small, ask God to enlarge your reverence, and end by saying plainly who Jesus is to you.

Pray for a Reverent Heart

Pray for people around you who know about Jesus but have not bowed to him. Ask God to open their eyes, give them humble hearts, and lead them to confess that Jesus is the Son of God and worship him.

For Others to Confess Him
