Lord, when your people are surrounded by many opinions about Jesus, revive us. Free us from uncertainty, fear, and silence. Give your Church courage to speak clearly, love faithfully, and point others beyond rumors to the truth about Christ, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Confess Christ Clearly

Father, when I hear many claims about Jesus, give me discernment. Help me test what I hear, hold to what is true, and follow Christ with a steady heart, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wisdom When Voices Differ

Pray for people who have only heard guesses or rumors about Jesus; for conversations that open the way to truth; and for believers to speak with clarity, humility, and kindness.

For People With Mixed Ideas About Jesus

Give thanks that Jesus is more than the labels people place on him; thank God that his identity is steady even when opinions are not; and thank him for revealing Christ truly through Scripture and faithful witness.

Begin by naming the mixed opinions you have heard about Jesus. Ask God to settle your heart in the truth, then speak one plain sentence of faith in your own words about who Jesus is and why you trust him.
