He demanded immediate payment from the other man.

Humble yourself, ask for patience, and commit to repay what you owe.

Wait until the person forgets, then move on as if nothing happened.

Give a sincere apology, but avoid saying anything about repayment or repair.

Insist that the other person owes you patience, because you are under pressure.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and carry a debt I cannot repay. I turn from my sin and ask you for mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I trust you to forgive me and make me new. Lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Lord, revive your Church to be humble, quick to plead for mercy, and ready to make things right. Save us from pride, from excuses, and from delaying obedience. Teach us to come low before you, to speak honestly, and to live as people changed by grace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for someone carrying guilt, debt, or a strained relationship: that they would not hide, that they would speak plainly, and that God would open a path to repay, reconcile, or seek help.
