If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that my own goodness is not enough. I have tried to stand on my record, but I still need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin, confess you as Lord, and trust you as my Savior. Forgive me, make me new, and fill what is lacking in me. Amen.

Lord, revive your Church from self-satisfaction and empty confidence. Where we have been content with outward obedience, search us and wake us up. Give us humility to admit what is missing, hunger to seek you, and courage to follow where you lead. Make your people honest before you and eager for more of your life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, I confess that I have sometimes trusted my good record more than your grace. Forgive me for hiding behind what I have done. Show me where my heart is still unfinished, and give me a willing spirit to turn and obey, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for: a person who assumes they are spiritually complete; softening of pride; a fresh question that leads them to Jesus; and willingness to receive what he shows.
