If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have trusted money, status, and my own strength more than you. I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from every false hope that keeps me from your kingdom. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to rule my life from this day on. Amen.

Open My Life to Your Kingdom

Lord, wake your Church from the sleep of self-reliance and love of wealth. Free us from measuring success by money, status, or comfort, and teach us to seek your kingdom first. Give us humble hearts that trust you more than possessions, and make us a people who can hear your warning and obey it. Revive us to follow you with open hands and single hearts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Church That Seeks Your Kingdom

Father, where money, security, or comfort has held my heart too tightly, loosen my grip. Teach me to trust your kingdom more than what I own, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give thanks for: the gift of your kingdom; Jesus' truthful warning that protects us; the freedom to depend on God rather than on riches.

Thanks for a Kingdom No Wealth Can Buy

Pray for: people with wealth, influence, or public success; that they would not be trapped by self-sufficiency; that God would give them humility, open hands, and hunger for his kingdom.

For the Wealthy and Influential

Start by naming one place where money shapes your decisions. Ask God to show whether you are relying on wealth more than on him, and then ask for one concrete act of generosity or simplicity this week.
