Move quickly into a new relationship so the old pain is easier to leave behind

Treat faithfulness as a private feeling rather than a covenant commitment

Lord, strengthen marriages that are under strain. Give couples patience to listen, humility to seek help, restraint in conflict, and grace to choose what is true and good. Protect them from hard-hearted division and lead them toward peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
