Wait outside and let someone else handle it

Accept the task and do it faithfully, trusting a fair outcome

Accept it only if you can secure more than the others

Delay your effort until you know how your share compares

Refuse it unless the work seems more important than the rest

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I surrender my life to you. Bring me into your kingdom, forgive me, and teach me to walk with you from this day forward. Amen.

Come to the One Who Calls You In

Lord, revive your Church and send us back into the work you have set before us. Where we have grown lazy, resentful, or quick to compare, make us glad to serve. Teach us to trust your fairness, to do what is right, and to rejoice when you give what is just. Awaken your people again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church for the Work

Pray by naming the task in front of you, asking God for a willing heart, and asking for the grace to do what is right without comparing your portion to anyone else.

Pray About Today’s Assignment

Pray for workers who are treated unfairly, for leaders who make honest decisions, and for communities where wages, credit, and responsibility are given with integrity.

Fairness for Workers

Bring thanks for meaningful work, for being seen and invited, and for every provision God has already given. Ask him to free your heart from envy when others receive different assignments or rewards.

Grateful for Meaningful Work

Pray for a steady heart that finishes the work it has been given, resists comparison, and leaves the outcome with God.
