Protect worship so it stays centered on prayer and honesty

Keep the place busy, even if profit starts steering it

Focus on outward activity while ignoring the heart

Use the holy place mainly when it benefits us

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and give you my life. Cleanse my heart, make it a place of prayer, and be my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Make My Heart a House for You

Lord, make your church a house of prayer again. Remove greed, distraction, and empty religion from us. Restore reverence, honesty, and hunger for your presence, and awaken us to seek you with one heart. in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Restore Your House of Prayer

Father, I confess that I have sometimes treated holy things as if they were useful for me instead of meant for you. Forgive me, cleanse my motives, and teach me to honor your house, your people, and your name. Make my life a place of sincere prayer. in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Turn My Motives Back to You

Name one room, meeting, or habit that has become too busy or self-centered. Ask God to restore it to prayer, then ask him for one concrete change you can make today to guard its purpose.

Pray Over One Space

Bring these to God: thanks that Jesus cares about holiness; gratitude that he speaks up when worship is corrupted; praise that he calls people back to prayer.

Thank God for Jesus' Zeal

Pray for leaders, congregations, and homes where worship is easily pulled toward profit, pride, or distraction. Ask God to protect what is sacred, purify motives, and keep prayer at the center.

Guard Worship from Corruption
