Keep pushing until you are too drained to think clearly

Leave the area but keep looking for more work right away

Withdraw only so you can avoid people altogether

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you needing your mercy and your rest. I admit that I have sinned, carried my life on my own, and cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord. Please forgive me, receive me, and lead me into your life. Amen.

Come to You for Rest

Lord, revive your Church where we are exhausted, restless, and driven. Teach us to follow Jesus with wisdom: to leave what needs leaving, to rest when it is time, and to go where you send us. Renew our hearts with quiet trust and faithful obedience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Rest and Obey

Father, thank you that Jesus did not stay in the crowd forever but withdrew and rested in Bethany. Thank you for the gift of rest, for safe places, and for your care over tired servants. Help me receive your mercy without striving, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for a Place to Rest

Pray by naming one area where you have been rushed or overextended. Ask God where you need to step away, what you need to leave for now, and how to rest faithfully before taking the next step.

Pray About Your Pace

Pray for: someone who feels worn down by constant demands; courage to step aside before collapse; a gentle, restful place for those who need it; and wisdom to know when to pause and when to go.

For the Tired and Overloaded

Bring these to God: the habit of always rushing; fear that rest means laziness; a desire to trust God with unfinished tasks; and grace to return refreshed, not drained.
