Turn and do the task, even after the delay

Keep the original refusal so you do not look inconsistent

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and resisted what is right. I turn from my sin and my stubbornness, and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to lead my life from this day forward. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

Turn and Follow Jesus

Lord, revive your Church where we have been slow to listen and slow to move. Give us quick repentance, humble hearts, and joyful obedience when you speak. Make our turning visible in our love and our actions, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Quick to Turn

Father, I confess that I have sometimes resisted what you have shown me. Forgive my delay, soften my heart, and help me turn and do what is right. Teach me to obey quickly and fully, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Delay

Pray by naming one area where you have said no, asking God to give you a changed heart, and then choosing one concrete step of obedience to take today.

Pray for a Changed Heart

Bring these to God: gratitude that a delayed turn is still possible, thanks for mercy that meets regret, and praise that he still leads people into obedience.

Thank God for Another Chance

Pray for: someone who has resisted God's call, a softened conscience that can turn, and the courage to follow through once they know what is right.
