Lord, revive your Church to hear your voice and respond without delay. Where we have hesitated, soften us; where we have clung to control, free us; where we have doubted your authority, restore our trust. Make us quick to do what you ask, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Prompt to Obey

Pray by naming one place where you tend to hesitate, ask God for a willing heart, and ask for courage to answer Jesus quickly when he speaks.

Thank God that Jesus' requests are wise, that his authority is trustworthy, and that he knows what is needed and when to send it.

Thank You for Wise Authority

Pray for people who feel questioned, pressured, or uncertain; ask God to give them clear hearing, honest words, and prompt obedience to Christ.

For Those Facing Pressure

Father, I surrender my delay, my excuses, and my need to stay in control. Teach me to hear Jesus clearly and answer him at once. Make me willing to release what he asks for, even when it costs me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
