From Empty Yes to New Life

Lord, revive your Church where our words are louder than our obedience. Wake us from empty promises, give us hearts that do what we say, and make our witness trustworthy in a watching world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Obey

Father, I confess the places where I have said I would do something and then left it undone. Forgive my half-hearted promises, and give me grace to turn back, speak honestly, and follow through, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Unkept Yes

Name one commitment you are carrying, ask God to help you complete it, and ask him to show you where you need to be more careful before saying yes.

Pray Before You Promise

Bring these to God: the habit of speaking too quickly, the desire to keep your word, and one area where your actions need to catch up with your promises.

Integrity in Speech and Action

Pray for someone who has been disappointed by words without follow-through. Ask God to heal their trust, give them wisdom, and let your reliability become a small sign of his care.
