Lord, revive your Church to welcome the King who comes in humility. Tear down our pride, cure our love of spectacle, and make us quick to bow before Jesus. Let your people receive his rule with joy and obedience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank you that your King comes near in gentleness and not in arrogance. Thank you that he draws close to your people and invites them to receive him. Teach us gratitude for such a kind reign, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
