Keep your best things back until the moment feels ideal

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I open my life to you. Lead me from this day forward. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your church with the humility of Jesus. Where we have wanted attention or comfort, teach us to bring what we have, lay it before you, and make room for your presence. Wake us up to simple obedience, tender service, and glad surrender, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your People to Serve Humbly

Father, thank you that Jesus receives what is brought to him, even when it is simple and ordinary. Teach me to stop dismissing the small things I can offer, and to give them with gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Receiving Small Gifts

Pray by naming one ordinary thing you can offer to Jesus this week, ask God to use it, and then present it to him with a willing heart.

Pray With What You Have

Pray for people who feel overlooked, unimportant, or limited, that they would see Jesus receiving humble offerings and believe their small acts can matter in his hands.

For Those Who Feel They Have Little to Give

Lord, I offer you my ordinary time, my work, and the small things I keep in my hands. Help me make room for Jesus in this week ahead, and teach me to serve him gladly and without fear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
