Lord, revive your Church from hidden motives and empty words. Make us a people who come to Jesus honestly, who ask with humility, and who refuse to use questions as weapons. Wake us up to truth, holiness, and love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Begin by naming the question honestly before God. Ask him to show whether it comes from fear, pride, or a real desire to know the truth, then ask for a listening heart and words that do not trap others.

Ask Honestly Before God

Bring these to God: hidden motives, the urge to score points, fear of honest answers, and the desire to ask with sincerity. Ask him to shape you into someone whose words match the truth.

A Clean Heart for Our Questions

Pray for people who feel questioned, doubted, or trapped by others' words. Ask God to give them peace, steady them in truth, and teach you not to use questions as weapons, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Who Feel Cornered

Lord, thank you that Jesus sees through every hidden motive and still speaks truth with grace. Teach me to love honesty, to ask questions for understanding, and to listen well. Help me use my words to build trust instead of setting traps, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
