Protect your own status, even if it keeps others at a distance.

Move toward God yourself and help others find a clear path to him.

Encourage seekers, but leave the barriers in place.

Wait until people prove themselves before you make room for them.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and that I have not followed your way. I have sometimes put obstacles in the way of others instead of helping them come near to you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin, ask you to forgive me, and give you my life. Be my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Receive Jesus and Come Near

Lord, revive your Church. Forgive us for pride, fear, and gatekeeping. Make us humble, welcoming, and quick to point people to your kingdom instead of protecting our own image. Open the way for seekers through our words and lives, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Up Your Church

Father, show me where I have been an obstacle to someone seeking you. Forgive my harshness, my pride, and any place I have made the way harder than it should be. Give me a humble heart that clears the path and points others to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Remove My Barriers

Pray for leaders, teachers, and churches to guide with humility; for seekers to meet patient answers and real welcome; and for every barrier to be replaced with a clear, truthful path toward God.

Open Doors for Seekers

Thank God for a warning that protects seekers, for mercy that still calls the proud to repent, and for the open way to him that no human gatekeeping can finally shut.

Thankful for Your Warning

Pray by naming one place where you may have made faith harder for someone, ask God to show the next honest step, and then ask for courage to remove that barrier and welcome the seeker.
