Choose the most visible place so you are noticed

Stay polite, but hope people praise your humility

Avoid gatherings whenever you might not be first

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my sin and my pride. I have wanted honor for myself and have not loved others well. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and from seeking first place, and I ask you to be Lord of my life. Forgive me, make me new, and teach me to follow you. Amen.

From Pride to Your Lordship

Lord, revive your Church where we crave recognition and the best seat. Free us from competition, teach us to honor one another, and make us glad to serve in hidden places. Turn our gatherings into places of humility, love, and peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew a Humble Church

Bring these to God: places where you prefer attention over service; times you want the most honored spot; habits of measuring your worth by where you sit or how others notice you.

Turning from the Need to Be Seen

Pray by naming one meal, meeting, or gathering where you tend to seek notice. Ask God to give you joy in the lower place, then ask for one concrete humble act to do there this week.

Pray for a Hidden Life

Thank God for showing what is in the heart, for correcting us before pride hardens, and for leading us back to a simpler love that values others above self.

Thank You for Exposing Vanity

Pray for families, churches, and workplaces to become places where the overlooked are valued, where leaders serve without show, and where every table reflects the humility of Christ.
