Come Near to Me

Lord, awaken your Church to live as if you are truly near. Forgive our distraction, our delay, and our love of speculation over obedience. Make us watchful, faithful, and full of hope, so our lives point people to your coming. Revive us for your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord, keep me from drifting, delaying, or distracting myself from your coming. Teach me to live faithfully in ordinary things, to obey you today, and to be ready when you appear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
