Be entrusted with the household and provide food at the right time

Own the household and run it for personal advantage

Care only for personal needs while the household waits

Notice what they need and provide help when it will actually help

Keep your position secure and let others wait if you are busy

Do only the visible parts of service while the real need goes unmet

Focus on staying in control rather than being useful

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and have not lived faithfully. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Make me new, and teach me to serve you and others with a faithful heart. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Saves

Lord, wake your Church to be faithful and wise servants. Put us in step with your timing, free us from laziness and self-importance, and make us quick to care for the people you have placed under our watch. Let your household be fed well through us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Us Faithful Servants Again

Thank God for people who care for others with steady faithfulness and good timing. Ask him to help you notice, appreciate, and learn from their service.

Pray for Timely Wisdom

Father, bless parents, teachers, pastors, supervisors, and every caregiver entrusted with others' needs. Give them faithfulness, wisdom, and good timing, and keep them from delay, pride, and neglect, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring before God any laziness, delay, or self-focus that keeps you from serving well. Ask him to form in you a dependable, wise, and attentive heart.
