Care for the responsibilities you already have with honesty and diligence

Postpone faithfulness until you are given a bigger role

Do the tasks that bring attention and ignore the quiet ones

Treat ordinary work as too small to matter

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and lived apart from your will. I need your mercy and your rule over my life. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Take my life, guide my steps, and make me yours. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Rules All Things

Lord, revive your Church so we handle what you place in our hands with faithfulness and humility. Wake us from carelessness, teach us to honor small tasks, and prepare us to welcome every trust you give. Make us reliable servants who are ready when you call, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Faithful Again

Father, thank you that you see what we do and that you care about the responsibilities you give. Thank you for every gift, role, and opportunity placed in our hands. Help us steward them well with gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Your Trust

Name one responsibility you already have, confess any laziness or fear around it, and ask God to help you handle it as something entrusted to you. Ask for steadiness, wisdom, and a willing heart.

Pray for Faithful Stewardship

Pray for leaders, parents, workers, and caregivers who manage much: that they would be honest, humble, and careful with what has been placed in their hands; that they would not misuse trust; and that they would treat others well.

For Leaders and Caregivers

Lord, make me faithful with what I already have. Keep me from seeking status more than service, and teach me to be diligent in hidden places. Let me handle small things well so my life honors you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Me Reliable
