Set it aside until the timing feels perfect

Use it promptly and responsibly so it can bear fruit

Keep it hidden unless someone else asks for it

Spend it mainly so others notice your success

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and have not used my life well. I need your mercy and your saving grace. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and Savior. Lead me in a life that bears fruit for you. Amen.

Receive Me and Make Me New

Lord, revive your Church. Free us from delay and passivity, and make us quick to obey with the gifts, time, and opportunities you have placed in our hands. Give us diligence, courage, and joy, so our lives bear fruit for your kingdom, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Faithful Again

Father, thank you for every skill, resource, and responsibility you place before us. Teach us not to let your gifts sit idle, but to use them well and see your goodness multiply through faithful work, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for What You Entrust

Pray by naming one thing God has already entrusted to you. Ask him to show you one practical way to put it to work today, and ask for the courage to begin without delay.

Pray for Prompt Faithfulness

Pray for people who carry much responsibility at home, at work, and in the church: that they would steward what has been entrusted to them wisely, work with integrity, and see honest fruit from their labor.

For People with Responsibility

Bring these before God: one gift you may be underusing, one place where you have been delaying, and one concrete step you can take this week to begin faithfully.
