He hid it underground and kept it out of sight

He put it to work in hopes of making more

Use it wisely and actively instead of leaving it unused

Wait until you feel completely safe before doing anything

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and have often hidden my life from your will. I turn from my sin and from living for myself. Come Out of Hiding

Father, revive your Church so we do not bury what you have entrusted to us. Wake us from fear, laziness, and self-protection. Make us faithful with the gospel, with our gifts, and with every opportunity to serve, so that what you place in our hands is used for your glory. Stir your people to step out in courage, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you, Lord, for every gift, responsibility, and opportunity you place in our hands. Teach us to receive them with gratitude and to use them well instead of hiding them away.

Thanks for What You Entrust

Name one ability, resource, or responsibility you have been tempted to keep buried. Ask God to show you one practical way to use it this week, and ask for courage to begin.

Pray Over One Hidden Gift

Pray for someone who feels unable to act on what has been entrusted to them. Ask God to free them from fear, strengthen their hands, and give them one clear step of faith this week.

For Those Afraid to Begin

Bring before God any habit of waiting, hiding, or doing nothing with what he has given you. Ask him to form steady faithfulness, courage, and diligence in you.

Grow Us in Faithful Use
