He says deeds done for the least among his brothers count as deeds done for him.

He begins with a serious assurance that what follows is true.

Serve them as if serving the King himself, especially if they are easily overlooked.

Help only when the need is visible to everyone and likely to be recognized.

Give attention mainly to people who can later repay the favor.

Leave small acts to others and focus on more impressive ministry work.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I cannot make myself right with God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and King. Receive me by your mercy, teach me to love the overlooked, and make my life yours. Amen.

Come to the King Who Sees the Least

Father, revive your Church so we no longer overlook the people you honor. Break our love of status, soften our hearts toward the unseen, and make us serve the least as though we were serving Christ himself, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Us to Christ in the Smallest

Lord, thank you that no act of mercy is wasted and no person is invisible to you. Thank you that when we care for the overlooked, you receive it as care for yourself, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Hidden Kindness

Pray by naming one person you usually overlook, asking God to change your eyes, and choosing one specific act of service you can do today or this week.

Pray Before You Pass By

Pray for people who feel forgotten, for believers who are treated as insignificant, and for a church that treats hidden faithfulness as precious to Christ.

For the Unseen and the Lowly

Lord, forgive me for preferring attention over obedience and for serving only where I might be noticed. Give me a quiet, steady love that honors you in small places and among small people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Repent of Selective Love
