Providing clothing for the one without it

Showing up to check on the sick and imprisoned

Give practical clothing or covering to someone who lacks it

Make time to visit or check in on someone who is sick or confined

Keep your help private by avoiding personal contact

Wait until the person asks several times before responding

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned, and I need your mercy. I have ignored the needy and lived for myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and ask you to come into my life as my Lord and Savior. Make me new, and teach me to follow you with compassion. Amen.

Lord Jesus, Receive Me

Lord, revive your Church where we have overlooked the stranger, left people uncovered, stayed away from the sick, and ignored those in prison. Wake us up to see you in the vulnerable, give us clean hands and tender hearts, and send us out to welcome, clothe, and visit with your love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew the Church's Mercy

Father, keep me from walking past the person who feels like a stranger. Give me a ready welcome, practical generosity, and courage to show up for the sick, the lonely, and the imprisoned, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Open My Eyes to the Overlooked

Start by naming one person who feels like a stranger, lacks what they need, is sick, or is isolated. Ask God to help you see their need clearly, then pray for one concrete way to welcome, clothe, or visit them this week.

Pray with a Name and a Need

Thank God for the people who welcomed you when you felt outside, helped you when you were vulnerable, or showed up when you were sick or alone. Ask him to let their kindness shape the way you treat others.

Thank God for Those Who Welcomed You

Pray for strangers in your community, for people without enough clothing, for the sick, and for those in prison. Ask God to give them comfort, practical help, and a living reminder that they are not forgotten.

For People Who Feel Unseen
