| 39. Formal Translation And having gone forward a little, He {Iesous, Obedient Son} fell upon His face, praying and saying, “My Father {Pater, Sovereign Will Giver}, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” |
| 39. Dynamic Translation He went a little farther, and fell with His face to the ground, praying, “My Father {Pater, Loving Listener}, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; but still, not what I want, but what You want.” |
