Wait until you can pray in a more impressive way

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I cannot make myself right with God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Teach me to come back to you again and again in prayer. Amen.

Lord, revive your Church with a returning heart. When we are tired, distracted, or stuck saying familiar words, breathe new life into our prayers. Make us a people who seek you again, who pray with honesty, and who do not give up. Wake us up to steady prayer and faithful dependence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray by naming one burden you have already brought to God, then tell him you are bringing it back to him today. Speak it plainly, ask for endurance, and stay with the prayer long enough to be honest.
