Stay where they are and wait for things to settle.

Turn back and hide until the danger passes.

Stop and argue with the man who is coming.

Protect yourself first, even if it changes the mission.

Lord, wake up your Church where we have grown slow, cautious, or divided. Make us ready to rise when you speak, to keep moving when obedience is costly, and to stay faithful when betrayal or opposition comes near. Renew our courage, and make us follow you without fear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
