Assume appearance matters more than character

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, your glory is brighter than lightning, and I need your light in my life. I admit that I have sinned and lived apart from you. I turn from my sin and believe that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to cleanse me and make me new. Lead me in your holy light. Amen.

Come Into Your Light

Lord, let your Church be marked again by the brightness of your holiness. Wake us from dullness, cleanse what is stained, and let our lives reflect your purity in a dark world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Radiant Again

Praise God for his overwhelming glory, for the purity that belongs to him, and for the beauty of holiness that draws us to worship.

Praise for Holy Radiance

Father, where my life has become dim or stained, shine your holiness into me. Wash away what is unclean, and make my thoughts, words, and actions bright with your purity, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Clean Hands, Clear Hearts

Pray by naming one place where you have become casual about God, then ask him to restore reverence, clarity, and purity there. Wait quietly and listen for one next step.

Pray for a More Reverent Life

Pray for someone who needs to see God as holy and near, for believers to reflect his brightness with humility, and for dark places to be touched by reverent witness.

Light for Others to See
