A private religious circle that avoids notice

Jesus' followers are described as light for everyone around them

A town or city on high ground cannot be concealed

A high place can still be hidden if desired

Live in a way that helps people notice God's goodness

Keep your faith private unless someone asks

Talk about belief often, but let daily love stay small

Make sure people admire you more than God

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you are the light for the world, and I need your light in my life. I confess that I have sinned and walked in darkness. I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Shine your light in me and lead my life. Amen.

Come Into the Light

Lord, revive your Church so we do not hide the light you have given us. Make us a people whose love, truth, and courage are seen clearly in a dark world. Take away fear, apathy, and compromise, and send us out as a bright witness to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Shine Again

Give thanks for: being called to shine for others; the ways Christ's light has already reached you; ordinary places where God can make your life a blessing to people around you.

Grateful for Visible Light

Name one place where you tend to hide your faith. Ask God for courage to live openly there, wisdom to do it with humility, and grace to point beyond yourself.

Pray for Courage to Be Seen

Pray for: a friend or neighbor who feels lost or overlooked; a clear sign of God's care through your words or actions; hope to reach someone who needs steady light.

Light for Someone in Darkness

Bring to God: any fear of being noticed; the temptation to blend in; a desire to live in a way that quietly and clearly points people to Christ.

A Life That Stays Bright
