32. Formal Translation But I {Iesous, Law-Fulfilling Teacher} say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. |
32. Dynamic Translation Yet I {Iesous, Heart-Searching Judge} am telling you that anyone who divorces his wife—unless it is because of sexual immorality—causes her to become an adulteress, and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery. |
