24. Formal Translation No one is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold fast to one and despise the other. You are not able to serve God {Theos, Exclusive Master} and mammon. |
24. Dynamic Translation No one can be a slave to two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or he will cling to one and treat the other with contempt. You cannot serve God {Theos, Sole Ruler} and wealth. |
