Wait until the way becomes easier before starting

Ignore the entrance and focus only on the destination

It is the same as the more restricted entrance

Choose the more restricted path even when the crowd prefers another route

Assume the busiest route is safest because it is familiar

Postpone every decision until the way feels easier

Let the number of people on a path decide whether it is good

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and followed my own way. I turn from my sin and from the broad road that leads away from you. Come to the True Way

Lord, revive your Church to love your way more than the approval of the crowd. Wake us from compromise, make us courageous in obedience, and send us to call others away from ruin and into life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church

Pray by naming one decision where the easy route is tempting. Ask God to show you the faithful step, then ask for courage to take it and not be carried along by the crowd.

Ask for the Right Path

Father, forgive me for loving comfort, speed, and approval more than obedience. Turn my heart from the broad road, teach me to choose what is right, and keep me close to your way, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Turn Me from the Easy Road

Thank God for speaking clearly about danger, for not leaving you to guess, and for giving a better road than the one that ends in loss.

Pray for: a friend, family member, or neighbor who may be on a harmful path; wisdom to notice when they need help; and words that are both truthful and gentle.
