From Hearing to Following

Lord, revive your Church where we have become listeners without obedience. Forgive us for admiring your words while living on shifting ground. Give us humility to hear, courage to do, and grace to build our lives on what lasts. Let our lives show that your teaching is true, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Obey

Father, I do not want to stop at hearing your words. Give me a steady heart, a willing mind, and the courage to obey what you show me. Keep me from a life built on what cannot hold, and teach me to follow through, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give Me a Steady Heart

Name one teaching of Jesus you have heard recently. Tell God honestly where you have delayed, ask for one concrete step of obedience today, and thank him for speaking clearly.

Pray Over One Saying of Jesus

Bring these to God: listening without action, excuses that delay obedience, fear of inconvenience, and the desire to build on what will last.

Turning from Empty Hearing

Pray for a friend, family member, or neighbor who knows Jesus’ words but has not yet acted on them; ask God to soften their heart, give them courage, and lead them into obedience.
