If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you came down to us, and I need your mercy. I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life, lead me, and make me yours. Amen.

Come Down into My Life

Father, revive your Church to follow Jesus when he moves and to step toward people with compassion. Free us from comfort, pride, and distance. Make us ready to come down where the hurting are, and lead us in your mercy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Follow You

Thank God that Jesus does not stay distant but comes down toward the crowds. Give thanks for his nearness, his willingness to meet people where they are, and his care for ordinary lives.

Thank You for Coming Near

Pray by naming one place where you need to keep following Jesus even if it means leaving comfort behind. Ask God for courage to move when he leads and not to lag behind.

Pray for Courage to Keep Following

Pray for people who are searching, overwhelmed, or standing in the crowd needing help. Ask God to bring them close to Jesus and let them be noticed and cared for.

For the Crowds Who Need Him

Lord, help me to keep close behind Jesus when he leads me away from what feels easy. Give me willing feet, a humble heart, and steady faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Teach Me to Stay Behind You
