29. Formal Translation And they hold fast to their brothers and their leaders and enter under a curse and an oath to walk in the law of God {Elohim, Covenant Commander}, which was given by the hand of Moses, the servant of God, and to keep and to do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord {Yahweh Adonai, Sovereign Ruler}, and his rules and his statutes. |
29. Dynamic Translation They join with their fellow Israelites and their leaders and bind themselves with a curse and a solemn oath to follow the law of God {Elohim, Divine Lawgiver} given through Moses, the servant of God, and commit to carefully keep and fulfill all the commands of the LORD our Lord {Yahweh Adonai, Ultimate Judge}, along with his ordinances and his statutes. |
