3 Pashhur {pashakhur: stalwart leader}, Amariah {amaryah: Yah has spoken}, Malkijah
4 Khattush {khattush: brought together}, Shebaniah {shebanyah: Yahweh has considered}, Mallukh.
5 Harim {charim: devoted ones}, Meremoth {meremot: heights}, Obadiah.
6 Daniel {Daniyel: God is my judge}, Ginnethon {Ginnethon: garden dweller}, Baruch

10 And their brothers {akhehem: extended family group}: Shebaniah {shevanyah: Yahweh has built}, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan.

12 Zakkur {zakkur: remembered} and Sherebiah {sherebyah: Yah has burned}, and Shebaniah.

28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants, and all who separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God {Elohim, Law Giver}, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, all who are able to understand {mevin: discern clearly}.
29 And they hold fast to their brothers and their leaders and enter under a curse and an oath to walk in the law of God {Elohim, Covenant Commander}, which was given by the hand of Moses, the servant of God, and to keep and to do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord {YHWH Adonai, Sovereign Ruler}, and his rules and his statutes.
30 And we will not give our daughters {benotenu: female descendants} to the peoples {amei: resident groups} of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons.
31 And concerning the peoples of the land who bring wares or any grain to sell on the Sabbath, we will not take from them on the Sabbath or on any holy day, and we will let the seventh year rest {shevi’it: sabbatical remission} and abandon every claim {kol-yad: personal debts}.
32 And we imposed upon ourselves commands {mitzvot: binding obligation} to give a third of a shekel each year for the service of the house of our God {Eloheinu, Temple Sustainer}.
33 For the bread of the arrangement, for the continual grain offering, for the continual burnt offering, for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, for the appointed times {mo'adim: festival seasons}, for the holy things, and for the sin offerings, to make atonement for Israel, and for the work of the house of our God {Eloheinu: Worship Center}.
34 And we—the priests, the Levites, and the people—cast lots concerning the wood offering to bring it into the house of our God {Eloheinu, Temple Sustainer}, by the houses of our fathers, at appointed times {mezummanim: designated occasions}, year by year, to present it on the altar of the LORD our God {YHWH Eloheinu, Covenant Commander}, as it is written in the Law.
35 And to bring the firstfruits {bikkurei: earliest yield} of our land and the firstfruits of all the fruit of every tree, year by year, to the house of the LORD {YHWH, Worship Recipient}.
36 And the firstborn of our sons and of our livestock, as it is written in the law {Torah: divine instruction}, we will bring the firstborn of our cattle and of our flocks to the house of our God {Eloheinu, Worship Center}, to the priests who serve in the house of our God.
37 And the first {reishit: initial offering} of our dough and our offerings, and the fruit of every tree, new wine, and oil, we will bring to the priests in the chambers of the house of our God {Eloheinu, Divine Dwelling}, and the tithe of our land to the Levites, for the Levites receive the tithes in all the cities of our work.
38 And the priest, a descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when they receive the tithe. And the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithe to the house of our God {Eloheinu, Cultic Center}, to the chambers {leshakot: inner rooms} of the treasury.
39 For the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi shall bring the contribution {terumat: sacred offering} of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms, and there are the vessels of the sanctuary, the priests who minister, the gatekeepers, and the singers, and it is upon us not to neglect the house of our God {Eloheinu: Worship Center}.
