13. Formal Translation The Valley Gate was repaired by Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the Dung Gate. |
13. Dynamic Translation Hanun and the people living in Zanoah repaired the Valley Gate; they reconstructed it, installed the doors, bolts, and bars, and also rebuilt a thousand cubits (about 450 meters) of the wall all the way to the Dung Gate. |
