| 40. Formal Translation And they rose early in the morning and went up to the top of the mountain to say, “Here we are, and we will go up to the place that the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Keeper} has spoken about, for we have sinned.” |
| 40. Dynamic Translation Early the next morning they rose and climbed to the summit of the mountain, saying, “We are ready; let us go up to the place the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Promise Maker} told us about because we have sinned.” |
