| 44. Formal Translation Yet they went up defiantly toward the summit of the mountain, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Witness} and Moses did not depart from the midst of the camp. |
| 44. Dynamic Translation Even so, they presumed to go up toward the mountain’s summit, but neither the LORD’s {Yahweh, Mountain Guardian} chest nor Moses left the camp. |
