| 38. Formal Translation The censers of these sinners, at the cost of their lives, shall be made into hammered sheets as an overlay for the altar, for they were presented before the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Judge} and have been consecrated to serve as a sign to the children of Israel. |
| 38. Dynamic Translation Take the censers of these sinners who forfeited their lives and hammer them into plates to cover the altar. Since they were presented before the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Arbiter}, they have become sacred and shall serve as a warning sign to the Israelites. |
