| 40. Formal Translation As a memorial for the sons of Israel, so that no outsider who is not of Aaron’s seed may approach to offer incense before the LORD {Yahweh, Priestly Guardian} and thus become like Korah and his assembly, as the LORD said by the hand of Moses. |
| 40. Dynamic Translation This is a reminder to the Israelites that no unauthorized person who is not a descendant of Aaron may bring incense before the LORD {Yahweh, Judicial Authority} or he will end up like Korah and his followers, as the LORD said by the hand of Moses. |
