The causal clause ki mey niddah lo-zorak alav {כִּי מֵי נִדָּה לֹא־זֹרַק עָלָיו | kî mê niddāh lōʾ-zô-rāq ʿalāyw} ‘because the waters of impurity were not sprinkled upon him’ employs the Hophal perfect for divine action.
