| 2. Formal Translation This is the statute of the instruction which the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Lawgiver} has commanded, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel, that they may take for you a red heifer, perfect, in which there is no blemish and upon which no yoke has ever come. |
| 2. Dynamic Translation Here is the command that the LORD {Yahweh, Holy Commander} has given: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red cow, flawless, with no defects and never used for work. |
