וַיָּ֨רֶם{va-ya-REM###vah-yaa-REM###and he lifted} מֹשֶׁ֜ה{mo-SHEH###moh-SHEH###Moses} אֶת־יָד֗וֹ{ET-ya-DO###EET-yah-DOH###his hand} וַיַּ֧ךְ{va-YAKH###vah-YAKH###and struck} אֶת־הַסֶּ֛לַע{ET-ha-SE-la###EET-hah-SEH-lah###the rock} בְּמַטֵּ֖הוּ{be-ma-TE-hu###beh-ma-TEH-hu###with his staff} פַּעֲמָ֑יִם{pa-a-MAI-im###pah-ah-mah-YIM###twice} וַיֵּצְאוּ֙{va-ye-TSE-u###vah-yeh-tseh-OO###and came out} מַ֣יִם{MA-yim###MAH-yim###water} רַבִּ֔ים{ra-BIM###rah-BEEM###abundantly} וַתֵּ֥שְׁתְּ{va-TESH-te###vah-TESH-teh###and drank} הָעֵדָ֖ה{ha-e-DA###hah-eh-DAH###the congregation} וּבְעִירָֽם׃ס{u-ve-i-RAM###oo-veh-ee-RAHM###and their livestock}
