וַיְשַׁלַּ֨ח{va-ya-sha-LAKH###vah-ya-shal-LAHKH###and sent} יְהוָ֜ה{Ye-ho-VAH###Yeh-ho-VAH###the LORD} בָּעָ֗ם{ba-AM###baa-AM###among the people} אֵ֚ת{ET###EET} הַנְּחָשִׁ֣ים{han-ne-kha-SHIM###han-neh-kha-SHEEM###the serpents} הַשְּׂרָפִ֔ים{has-se-ra-FIM###has-seh-rah-FEEM###the fiery ones} וַֽיְנַשְּׁכ֖וּ{va-ye-nash-KHU###vah-yeh-nash-KHOO###and they bit} אֶת־הָעָ֑ם{et-ha-AM###eet-ha-AAHM###the people} וַיָּ֥מָת{va-ya-MAT###vah-ya-MAAT###and died} עַם־רָ֖ב{am-RAV###am-RAHV###many people} מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃{mi-yis-ra-EL###mee-yis-rah-EL###of Israel}
